Associate Mental Health Therapist
Full-Time & Part-Time Available

We are seeking eager, like-minded, mental health professionals to work collaboratively with us, Anchor Within Counseling. These professionals can be pre-licensed (CSWA, LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate) therapists who are motivated to support the mental and behavioral well-being of clients. We are a multi-cultural focused practice which serves everyone while prioritizing the ethical, competent care racial/ethnic minorities. We are eager to add new skills to the space. Our outpatient practice is a place where you can grow your clinical skills and build partnerships. This position is primarily in-person at our office in SE Portland, Oregon.

Our therapists care about individual and community growth. They support client health and wellness in their work and are passionate to (Responsibilities):
  • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, BSFT, Narrative, EFT, Family Systems, or the like.
  • Formulate, update, and manage diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate minimums of caseload points.
  • Complete timely, concise, and thorough documentation.
  • Collaborate with community, medical, and/or familial systems in service delivery as needed.
  • Maintain service user confidentiality.
  • Maintain good standing with state boards for continued mental health administration.
  • Attend team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision.
  • Serve clients virtually and in-person.
  • Utilize electronic health record system for service user care tracking and documentation.
  • Keep up-to-date with mental health care knowledge through continued education/training.

This work is profound, requiring robust foundations (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Meet pre-licensure/licensure requirements as set by the state of Oregon.

Culturally-Specific Skills Desired, but not Required:
  • Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African, Latino, and/or Native/Indigenous populations from a racial trauma lens.
  • Willingness to serve clients whom ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors.

Compensation - Base Salary Plus Commission
We offer the opportunity to grow and scale your income as you would like. You will receive the financial peace of a guaranteed base salary every pay period and unlock additional earning potential with every billable session completed.

Salary Range:
  • $64,230 - $88,904 per year.

Positions Available:
  • Full-Time (1.0 FTE).
  • Part-Time (0.6 FTE).
